Yesterday we received an offer sheet which the Sacramento Monarchs had signed with Tynesha Lewis. Today we are matching that offer sheet. Last year was a little bit out of the ordinary for Tynesha. She changed teams in mid-season and never quite got her shot going. After being a better than 40% shooter every year for her first four seasons, she shot only 33% last year. It is tough to adapt to a new team and a new system in the middle of the season, but Tynesha enjoyed her time here, showed a lot of good things, and is now playing in the NWBL to get ready for the upcoming season. We think her style of play fits in well with the uptempo team we are planning on being for next season. She is shooting well in the NWBL and we are looking forward to what she can do when she has an entire training camp with the team.

With this signing, we probably have two signings left before training camp. With our draft picks, that would take us to 15 for the start of camp.
